MEMBERS IN LANCASHIRE

Graham was a widower and extremely lonely. He lived in Bolton. A magazine article about a lady who had found a companion through friendsfirst gave him hope that he too might meet someone for friendship to begin with and, God willing, possibly even a wife.  His prayers were answered when he met Helen.  They soon grew to love each other and eventually married.

Helen lived in Wigan and had been alone for eight years and although she asked God to give her the grace to cope with being single, He didn’t. After seeing an advert for friendsfirst in a Christian magazine she decided to join and within a matter of weeks met Graham.  They married later that year and Helen says the last 3 years have been the happiest of her life. She feels this is an excellent way to meet someone special.
