We are often asked how successful friendsfirst is?

If you judge success by the number of marriages we've had then we are very successful. And if you add in the numbers of people making new friends (which is what some people join for) then it's even better

Reprioritising your life

Hard times in this economic climate are affecting us all. Whether we’ve lost our job or know friends who’ve lost theirs, we are all involved.

Yet, conversely organisations helping single Christians find new friends and partners are seeing significant growth in their membership numbers. Perhaps this can be put down to people thinking hard about their priorities in life, and realizing that good friendships and relationships are what keeps them going when times are hard – and that investing in them is more important than many other transient things in life.

Katharine Gray, who runs friendsfirst the UK Christian friendship club wrote recently to us saying: We’ve almost never known a time like this in our 9 year history. More people are joining us each month and people are being very proactive with their membership.”

In the last six months alone, friendsfirst has had eight couples announce their engagements and a further three couples get married, with many more people relating the joy of finding new friends.

If you are finding that these times are giving you a new desire to make new Christian friends in your life, or even find someone really special to share it with, call Patricia at friendsfirst now on 0121 427 1286 or look at their website www.friends1st.co.uk. You’ll be guaranteed a warm confidential chat and may well find your future - like many other members have - is much brighter than you’d ever expected.
